Q: What is Trauma Touch Healing™ (TTH™), and how did it save/give you back your life?

A: Trauma Touch Healing is a new cutting-edge technique that somatically releases negative emotions from the cells and tissues of the body. Without this release our bodies become mired in a cyclic vortex of negative emotions such as fear, anxiety, anger, rage, paranoia, etc. Releasing these emotions allows the trauma to reverse back out of the body and allows a survivor of trauma to fully recover, giving them back their life.

Q: Is TTH only for people with PTSD? What other mental or physical ailments would TTH be appropriate for?

A: TTH is appropriate anytime somebody has experienced trauma and does not feel that they are doing very well in their recovery. Most people don’t even realize they have PTSD. But anytime there are physical issues not getting resolved during treatment, or mental problems such as dissociation, foggy minds, focus and concentration not improving but getting worse, one should seek a TTH specialist.

Q: Can TTH be used to treat addictions to drugs, alcohol, eating orders, and/or OCD?

A: Addictions are just symptoms of past problems, usually trauma based. Addictions are not the cause. Most times the root cause is trying to ease the emotional pain inside. We try to do this by comfort eating, or alcohol to numb the feelings, or drugs to escape the negative emotions entirely. When you have PTSD, it is a roller-coaster ride of extreme ups and downs, often this is diagnosed as OCD or Bi-Polar conditions. If we repeat a pattern enough times and it feels better than the negative feelings, we naturally become addicted. TTH releases the deep, underlying negative emotions at the root of the addictions. Once this is done, somebody now has a much better chance to permanently recover and reverse the addictions.

Q: What is disassociation and why can it be problematic?

A: Dissociation without the “a” is a condition caused by trauma. It is a kind of spacing out syndrome. It develops as an escape from the reality of negative emotions experienced during traumatic events. It is a necessary defense mechanism provided by the body/mind to survive intense traumatic experiences. Dissociation, however, when it becomes habitual makes it very difficult to be “present,” to focus, or concentrate when this is required. This becomes very problematic because it blocks productivity to live a life successfully.

Q: What is the primary difference between TTH and other body therapies?

A: Well, firstly, it is the only therapy I know that does a one hour proper, comprehensive intake discussing the trauma history of client. Also, it is the way the touch work is done that is key to its success. Instead of a therapist using intuition alone to release negative emotions, TTH uses the body’s innate intelligence to guide them, through the client, of where and how to work for the best release work results. This is also an entirely different approach to any other bodywork modalities.

Q: Touch is the main component of this type of therapy. What is the purpose of “touch” in Trauma Touch Healing?

A: When working with the energy bodies the only way anything can be released is by touch. In the body if something needs to be removed, a surgeon will go in and remove it. But in the invisible, unseen, abstract bodies, it is the therapist’s hands that have to energetically remove the unwanted negative emotions. The therapist becomes a hands-on conduit between the client’s body and universal energy, which allows and encourages these destructive, invisible, negative emotions to release and finally escape being held prisoner in the body by our minds.

Q: What are the goals of Trauma Touch Healing?

A: The ultimate goal of TTH is to bring the condition of “thriving” back to a client who has been emotionally crippled by trauma and who is still in the victim or survivor mode. TTH gives you the opportunity of restoring your life back to you that trauma ripped away.

Q: You are a certified Trauma Touch Therapist and have worked with dozens of clients. What motivates you to do this work, and what is your vision on how TTH could eventually impact on how trauma victims receive the care they so desperately need and deserve?

A: I have worked as a Certified Trauma Touch Therapist for many years now. It is extraordinary work and a great privilege to perform. I am hoping to see more people get more educated in this technique so it can be combined with other modalities to ultimately restore full health to victims of trauma. It is my dream to see therapists involved with trauma clients take a more educated and integrated approach to trauma healing, and focus on all three aspects – Body, Mind, Spirit. This is the least clients should be able to expect from therapists.

Q: How successful would you describe the work of Trauma Touch Healing with clients?

A: Because it is the client’s body directing the therapy, and it knows exactly what needs to be released to restore balance and homeostasis, it is 100% successful. All the client and therapist have to do is stay mentally out of the way, and let the body lead to orchestrate the healing. This is why an organic approach, as opposed to a purely intuitive one, is so successful.
