We erroneously believe that it is only military that has PTSD. This is not true. Many people have developed it but just don’t recognize the symptoms. If you have experienced traumatic or negative experiences anywhere in your past, you may have also developed some of the following PTSD symptoms.
The most common are: Depression, anger, rage, fear, paranoia, anxiety, addictions, easily triggered, feeling helpless, chronically exhausted, difficulty focusing, unable to sleep, unable to feel joy, feeling emotionally numb, desire constant isolation. If you have or are being treated for any of these symptoms, it may be well worth your time investigating if you have developed PTSD – then get treatment and reverse the symptoms!
